Usually, it’s when there are things you know need doing, but you either don’t have the time (or inclination) to do them, or your time would be better spent elsewhere. You might need regular ongoing help, support during a particularly busy period or simply someone to take ownership of a specific piece of work.

You don’t need to wait until everything feels unmanageable, sometimes it just makes sense to have someone else take care of it.

Once we get started, I’ll work with the tools and systems you already use wherever possible, so there’s no need to change the way you work just to accommodate me.

Yes. You don’t need to commit to ongoing support - I’m equally happy to help with a one-off project or a particular piece of work that needs getting done.

Pricing depends on the type of support you need. My standard hourly rate is £35, with ongoing support and fixed-price project options also available. Retainer hours are paid monthly in advance, as they reserve a set amount of my time for you each month.

I usually work Monday to Friday during UK business hours, although I can be flexible where needed.

For ongoing work, we’ll agree the best way to stay in touch based on how you already work. That might be email, Teams, shared project tools or a combination, there’s no need to introduce a whole new system just for me.

You get reliable, professional support when you need it, without the additional costs and commitments that come with hiring an employee. There’s no holiday or sickness pay, office space or long-term employment contract to factor in, and you only pay for the support you actually need.

It also gives you the flexibility to increase or reduce support as your needs change.
